Our Wildlife Photography Rules
You must not do anything to injure or distress an animal or damage its habitat in an attempt to secure a photograph. This includes flying (or flying a drone) too low or noisily over an animal and taking photographs at nests using wide angle lenses although telephoto lenses are permitted. An animal’s welfare must always come first.
You must be the sole owner of the copyright of the photograph(s), your photographs must report on the natural world in a way that is respectful, honest, ethical and if you wish creative. Please don’t attempt to disguise and/or misrepresent the reality of nature. You must obtain prior approval to use photographic video equipment other than on your phone and or camera e.g. trail cams, drones along with agreeing when they will be used.
Please be aware of your surroundings at all times as Reddings Retreat is located on a working farm.
Photograph(s) can be taken from:
- your Reddings Retreat accommodation and it's associated common area (garden, patio and or paddock).
- along the farm drive way up to the farm house garage.
- along the public footpath.
Access to other areas of the farm including the farm's buildings, fields, pond and surrounding woods is not permitted during your stay*.
We request that you respect the privacy of others, follow the countryside code, Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 Schedules while staying at Reddings Retreat.
