Getting Here 🚗

Whether you’re travelling with or without a car, we’ve made it easy to plan your journey — and the trip itself is part of the charm. Tucked away on the Chepstow side of the village of Tintern, in the heart of the lower Wye Valley, we’re surrounded by stunning scenery and historic landmarks. As you approach, the route winds through rolling hills and wooded valleys, offering glimpses of the River Wye and the timeless stone of Tintern Abbey along the way.

Detailed driving directions are provided with your booking confirmation, and for those arriving by public transport or on foot, we’ve created two handy guides to make your trip smooth and stress‑free:

  • Public Transport Options – The best train and bus connections, plus local taxi services to bring you right to our door.

  • Walking to Reddings Retreat – Step‑by‑step directions for scenic approaches on foot, from riverside strolls to hilltop viewpoints.

Whichever way you choose to travel, you’ll be welcomed by the peace of the lower Wye Valley and the comfort of knowing you’ve arrived somewhere special.
