Reddings Retreat is a selection of three self contained accommodation options - private guest room that adjoins the main farm house and two bespoke shepherds huts. The two bespoke rustic Shepherds Huts; Reddings Retreat Burrow Shepherds Hut and Reddings Retreat Warren Shepherds Hut. Our Shepherds Huts are located in Reddings Retreat Paddock, which is the old fruit orchard and still has fruits trees dotted along the driveaway boundary. Reddings Retreat is located on a working farm in Tintern, which is in the Lower Wye Valley a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

Reddings Retreat is conveniently located off the A466, on the edge of Tintern. The village of Tintern renowned for its scenic walks, beautiful countryside and the impressive ruins of Tintern Abbey. The village has a wide selection of pubs many of which serve food, art galleries, mobile post office, Abbey Mills (arts & crafts centre), the Old Railway Wire Bridge (crosses over River Wye in to England), play ground, Old Tintern Station along with a variety shops & cafes.

Reddings Retreat is less than 5 miles from Chepstow and around 10 minutes drive from the Severn Bridge (M48). Making Reddings Retreat within easy driving distance of Tintern Abbey (0.5 miles), Chepstow (5 miles), Coleford (10 miles) Monmouth (11 miles), Lyndey (11 miles)  Abergavenny, Caldicot, Magor (15 miles), Usk,  Symond's Yat, Cinderford (16 miles) Ross on Wye (22 miles), Newport (23 miles), and Cardiff (36 miles). And if you wish to visit England, the cities of Bristol (20 minutes drive) or Bath (35 minutes drive).

There is lots to explore in and around Tintern, which is renowned for its scenic walks, countryside and the village is dominated by the Tintern Abbey’s impressive ruins.
