Winter recommendations
Curated routes for crisp mornings, quiet woods, and riverside peace.
Every stay at Reddings Retreat begins with the landscape right outside your door. Several of our favourite routes start and end here at the retreat, letting you step straight onto the trail without touching your car keys.
We also include a curated selection of longer walks that begin elsewhere in Tintern or a short drive away — perfect if you’re in the mood to explore more of the Wye Valley AONB.
This private collection gives you access to our winter set of walk guides, complete with maps, stage‑by‑stage directions, seasonal notes and insider tips from Robert and Charlotte — with a special focus on winter‑friendly routes.
