Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oats

  • 1 cup milk (or yogurt)

  • 2 tbsp mashed, strained rosehips

  • ½ tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp honey

Serve with: Fresh berries or apple slices

 

๐Ÿฅฃ Blackberry & Apple Overnight Oats

Prep: Fridge soak Walk pairing: Tintern to Brockweir Plant pairing: Blackberry, crab apple

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup oats

  • ½ cup yogurt

  • ½ cup milk

  • ½ cup chopped apple

  • ¼ cup blackberries

  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Serve with: Toasted nuts

 

๐Ÿฅช Peanut Butter & Banana Toast

Prep: Toaster Walk pairing: Tintern to Devil’s Pulpit Plant pairing: Wild mustard

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices wholegrain bread

  • 2 tbsp peanut butter

  • 1 banana, sliced

  • Drizzle of honey

Serve with: A sprinkle of wild mustard sprouts

 

๐Ÿณ Microwave Mug Omelette

Prep: Microwave Walk pairing: Tintern to Penterry Church Plant pairing: Wild garlic, chives

Ingredients:

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tbsp milk

  • 1 tbsp chopped wild garlic leaves

  • 1 tbsp chopped chives

  • Pinch salt & pepper

Steps:

  1. Whisk eggs, milk, herbs, salt, and pepper in a microwave-safe mug.

  2. Microwave on high for 1–2 mins, pausing halfway to stir.

Serve with: Toast and extra wild garlic

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt

  • ½ cup granola

  • 2 tsp elderflower cordial

  • Handful fresh berries

Serve with: Drizzle of honey

Ingredients:

  • Handful mint sprigs

  • 250 ml hot water

Steep for 5 mins; strain

 

๐ŸŒผ Elderflower & Lemon Tea

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp elderflower cordial

  • 1 lemon slice

  • 200 ml hot water

Stir and serve

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp dried or fresh rosehips

  • 250 ml hot water

Steep 10 mins; strain

Ingredients:

  • 1 tsp dried dandelion leaves

  • 1 tsp dried burdock root (optional)

  • 250 ml hot water

Steep 5–7 mins; strain

Prep: Microwave (milk) + kettle (mint) Walk pairing: Tintern to Devil’s Pulpit Plant pairing: Field mint

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 200 ml milk

  • 1 mint sprig

Steps:

  1. Heat milk in microwave.

  2. Whisk in cocoa and sugar until smooth.

  3. Pour into mug; float mint sprig on top.

Serve with: A marshmallow or wild thyme sprinkle
